CVE-2019-14822 – ibus: missing authorization allows local attacker to access the input bus of another user
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-14822
A flaw was discovered in ibus in versions before 1.5.22 that allows any unprivileged user to monitor and send method calls to the ibus bus of another user due to a misconfiguration in the DBus server setup. A local attacker may use this flaw to intercept all keystrokes of a victim user who is using the graphical interface, change the input method engine, or modify other input related configurations of the victim user. A flaw was discovered in ibus that allows any unprivileged user to monitor and send method calls to the ibus bus of another user due to a misconfiguration in the DBus server setup. CVE-2019-16168 – sqlite: Division by zero in whereLoopAddBtreeIndex in sqlite3.c
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-16168
In SQLite through 3.29.0, whereLoopAddBtreeIndex in sqlite3.c can crash a browser or other application because of missing validation of a sqlite_stat1 sz field, aka a "severe division by zero in the query planner." • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00032.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00033.html https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=SB10365 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/08/msg00037.html https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/XZARJHJJDBHI7CE5PZEBXS5HKK6HXKW2 https://security.gentoo.org/glsa/202003-16 https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20190926-0003 https:/& • CWE-369: Divide By Zero •
CVE-2019-16056 – python: email.utils.parseaddr wrongly parses email addresses
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-16056
An issue was discovered in Python through 2.7.16, 3.x through 3.5.7, 3.6.x through 3.6.9, and 3.7.x through 3.7.4. The email module wrongly parses email addresses that contain multiple @ characters. An application that uses the email module and implements some kind of checks on the From/To headers of a message could be tricked into accepting an email address that should be denied. An attack may be the same as in CVE-2019-11340; however, this CVE applies to Python more generally. CVE-2019-13565
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-13565
An issue was discovered in OpenLDAP 2.x before 2.4.48. When using SASL authentication and session encryption, and relying on the SASL security layers in slapd access controls, it is possible to obtain access that would otherwise be denied via a simple bind for any identity covered in those ACLs. After the first SASL bind is completed, the sasl_ssf value is retained for all new non-SASL connections. Depending on the ACL configuration, this can affect different types of operations (searches, modifications, etc.). In other words, a successful authorization step completed by one user affects the authorization requirement for a different user. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00053.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00058.html http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Dec/26 https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/r1b103833cb5bc8466e24ff0ecc5e75b45a705334ab6a444e64e840a0%40%3Cissues.bookkeeper.apache.org%3E https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/r58af02e294bd07f487e2c64ffc0a29b837db5600e33b6e698b9d696b%40%3Cissues.bookkeeper.apache.org%3E https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/rf4c02775860db415b4955778a131c2795223f61cb8c6a450893651e4%40%3Cissues. •
