A XSS vulnerability was discovered in python-lxml's clean module. The module's parser didn't properly imitate browsers, which caused different behaviors between the sanitizer and the user's page. A remote attacker could exploit this flaw to run arbitrary HTML/JS code. • https://advisory.checkmarx.net/advisory/CX-2020-4286 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1901633 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/12/msg00028.html https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/JKG67GPGTV23KADT4D4GK4RMHSO4CIQL https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/TMHVKRUT22LVWNL3TB7HPSDHJT74Q3JK https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20210521-0003 https://www.debian.org/security/2020/dsa-481 • CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') •

In Eclipse Jetty version 9.4.0.RC0 to 9.4.34.v20201102, 10.0.0.alpha0 to 10.0.0.beta2, and 11.0.0.alpha0 to 11.0.0.beta2, if GZIP request body inflation is enabled and requests from different clients are multiplexed onto a single connection, and if an attacker can send a request with a body that is received entirely but not consumed by the application, then a subsequent request on the same connection will see that body prepended to its body. The attacker will not see any data but may inject data into the body of the subsequent request.

Highlight.js is a syntax highlighter written in JavaScript. Highlight.js versions before 9.18.2 and 10.1.2 are vulnerable to Prototype Pollution. A malicious HTML code block can be crafted that will result in prototype pollution of the base object's prototype during highlighting. If you allow users to insert custom HTML code blocks into your page/app via parsing Markdown code blocks (or similar) and do not filter the language names the user can provide you may be vulnerable. The pollution should just be harmless data but this can cause problems for applications not expecting these properties to exist and can result in strange behavior or application crashes, i.e. a potential DOS vector. • https://github.com/highlightjs/highlight.js/commit/7241013ae011a585983e176ddc0489a7a52f6bb0 https://github.com/highlightjs/highlight.js/pull/2636 https://github.com/highlightjs/highlight.js/security/advisories/GHSA-vfrc-7r7c-w9mx https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/12/msg00041.html https://www.npmjs.com/package/highlight.js https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpujul2022.html https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2020-26237 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1901662 • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation CWE-471: Modification of Assumed-Immutable Data (MAID) •

In musl libc through 1.2.1, wcsnrtombs mishandles particular combinations of destination buffer size and source character limit, as demonstrated by an invalid write access (buffer overflow).

A flaw was found in hibernate-core in versions prior to and including 5.4.23.Final. A SQL injection in the implementation of the JPA Criteria API can permit unsanitized literals when a literal is used in the SQL comments of the query. This flaw could allow an attacker to access unauthorized information or possibly conduct further attacks. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity. • https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1881353 https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/r833c1276e41334fa675848a08daf0c61f39009f9f9a400d9f7006d44%40%3Cdev.turbine.apache.org%3E https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/rf2378209c676a28b71f9b604a3b3517c448540b85367160e558ef9df%40%3Ccommits.turbine.apache.org%3E https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2021/01/msg00000.html https://www.debian.org/security/2021/dsa-4908 https://www.oracle.com//security-alerts/cpujul2021.html https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpuapr2022.html&# • CWE-89: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection') •
