CVE-2023-20268
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2023-20268
A vulnerability in the packet processing functionality of Cisco access point (AP) software could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to exhaust resources on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient management of resources when handling certain types of traffic. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a series of specific wireless packets to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to consume resources on an affected device. A sustained attack could lead to the disruption of the Control and Provisioning of Wireless Access Points (CAPWAP) tunnel and intermittent loss of wireless client traffic. • https://sec.cloudapps.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-ap-dos-capwap-DDMCZS4m • CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption •
CVE-2022-20945 – Cisco Catalyst 9100 Series Access Points Association Request Denial of Service Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2022-20945
A vulnerability in the 802.11 association frame validation of Cisco Catalyst 9100 Series Access Points (APs) could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of certain parameters within association request frames received by the AP. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted 802.11 association request to a nearby device. An exploit could allow the attacker to unexpectedly reload the device, resulting in a DoS condition. • https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-ap-assoc-dos-EgVqtON8 • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation CWE-120: Buffer Copy without Checking Size of Input ('Classic Buffer Overflow') •
CVE-2021-27853 – L2 network filtering can be bypassed using stacked VLAN0 and LLC/SNAP headers
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-27853
Layer 2 network filtering capabilities such as IPv6 RA guard or ARP inspection can be bypassed using combinations of VLAN 0 headers and LLC/SNAP headers.
CVE-2021-1419 – Cisco Access Points SSH Management Privilege Escalation Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-1419
A vulnerability in the SSH management feature of multiple Cisco Access Points (APs) platforms could allow a local, authenticated user to modify files on the affected device and possibly gain escalated privileges. The vulnerability is due to improper checking on file operations within the SSH management interface. A network administrator user could exploit this vulnerability by accessing an affected device through SSH management to make a configuration change. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain privileges equivalent to the root user. • https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-cisco-ap-LLjsGxv • CWE-284: Improper Access Control •
CVE-2021-1565 – Cisco IOS XE Software for Catalyst 9000 Family Wireless Controllers CAPWAP Denial of Service Vulnerabilities
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-1565
Multiple vulnerabilities in the Control and Provisioning of Wireless Access Points (CAPWAP) protocol processing of Cisco IOS XE Software for Cisco Catalyst 9000 Family Wireless Controllers could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. These vulnerabilities are due to insufficient validation of CAPWAP packets. An attacker could exploit the vulnerabilities by sending a malformed CAPWAP packet to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to crash and reload, resulting in a DoS condition. • https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-ewlc-capwap-dos-gmNjdKOY • CWE-415: Double Free •
