CVE-2021-44228 – Apache Log4j2 Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-44228
Apache Log4j2 2.0-beta9 through 2.15.0 (excluding security releases 2.12.2, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1) JNDI features used in configuration, log messages, and parameters do not protect against attacker controlled LDAP and other JNDI related endpoints. An attacker who can control log messages or log message parameters can execute arbitrary code loaded from LDAP servers when message lookup substitution is enabled. From log4j 2.15.0, this behavior has been disabled by default. From version 2.16.0 (along with 2.12.2, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1), this functionality has been completely removed. Note that this vulnerability is specific to log4j-core and does not affect log4net, log4cxx, or other Apache Logging Services projects. • https://github.com/fullhunt/log4j-scan https://github.com/Puliczek/CVE-2021-44228-PoC-log4j-bypass-words https://github.com/cyberstruggle/L4sh https://github.com/woodpecker-appstore/log4j-payload-generator https://github.com/tangxiaofeng7/apache-log4j-poc https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/51183 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/50592 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/50590 https://github.com/logpresso/CVE-2021-44228-Scanner https://github.com/jas502n/Log4j2-CVE-2021-44228 h • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption CWE-502: Deserialization of Untrusted Data CWE-917: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an Expression Language Statement ('Expression Language Injection') •
CVE-2020-3464 – Cisco UCS Director Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-3464
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco UCS Director could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with administrative credentials to conduct a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of the interface. The vulnerability exists because the web-based management interface does not properly validate input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by inserting malicious data into a specific data field in the interface. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the affected interface or access sensitive, browser-based information. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would need administrative credentials on the affected device. • https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-ucs-director-xss-O7T8ORYR • CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') •
CVE-2020-3242 – Cisco UCS Director Information Disclosure Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-3242
A vulnerability in the REST API of Cisco UCS Director could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with administrative privileges to obtain confidential information from an affected device. The vulnerability exists because confidential information is returned as part of an API response. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request to the API. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to obtain the API key of another user, which would allow the attacker to impersonate the account of that user on the affected device. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have administrative privileges on the device. • https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-ucsd-info-disclosure-gSMU8EKT • CWE-200: Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor •
CVE-2020-3241 – Cisco UCS Director Path Traversal Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-3241
A vulnerability in the orchestration tasks of Cisco UCS Director could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to perform a path traversal attack on an affected device. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input on the web-based management interface. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by creating a task with specific configuration parameters. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to overwrite arbitrary files in the file system of an affected device. CVE-2020-3329 – Cisco IMC Supervisor, Cisco UCS Director, and Cisco UCS Director Express for Big Data Role-Based Access Control Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-3329
A vulnerability in role-based access control of Cisco Integrated Management Controller (IMC) Supervisor, Cisco UCS Director, and Cisco UCS Director Express for Big Data could allow a read-only authenticated, remote attacker to disable user accounts on an affected system. The vulnerability is due to incorrect allocation of the enable/disable action button under the role-based access control code on an affected system. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating as a read-only user and then updating the roles of other users to disable them. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to disable users, including administrative users.
