CVE-2009-0689 – K-Meleon 1.5.3 - Remote Array Overrun
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2009-0689
Array index error in the (1) dtoa implementation in dtoa.c (aka pdtoa.c) and the (2) gdtoa (aka new dtoa) implementation in gdtoa/misc.c in libc, as used in multiple operating systems and products including in FreeBSD 6.4 and 7.2, NetBSD 5.0, OpenBSD 4.5, Mozilla Firefox 3.0.x before 3.0.15 and 3.5.x before 3.5.4, K-Meleon 1.5.3, SeaMonkey 1.1.8, and other products, allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a large precision value in the format argument to a printf function, which triggers incorrect memory allocation and a heap-based buffer overflow during conversion to a floating-point number. KDE KDELibs version 4.3.3 suffers from a remote array overrun vulnerability that allows for arbitrary code execution. • https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/10186 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/10187 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/10185 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/10184 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/33480 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/33312 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/33364 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/33058 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/33363 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/33479 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/10380 • CWE-119: Improper Restriction of Operations within the Bounds of a Memory Buffer •
CVE-2006-4253 – Mozilla Firefox 1.0.x - JavaScript Handler Race Condition Memory Corruption
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2006-4253
Concurrency vulnerability in Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via multiple Javascript timed events that load a deeply nested XML file, followed by redirecting the browser to another page, which leads to a concurrency failure that causes structures to be freed incorrectly, as demonstrated by (1) ffoxdie and (2) ffoxdie3. NOTE: it has been reported that Netscape 8.1 and K-Meleon 1.0.1 are also affected by ffoxdie. Mozilla confirmed to CVE that ffoxdie and ffoxdie3 trigger the same underlying vulnerability. NOTE: it was later reported that Firefox 2.0 RC2 and 1.5.0.7 are also affected. • https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/28380 ftp://patches.sgi.com/support/free/security/advisories/20060901-01-P.asc http://lcamtuf.coredump.cx/ffoxdie.html http://lcamtuf.coredump.cx/ffoxdie3.html http://secunia.com/advisories/21513 http://secunia.com/advisories/21906 http://secunia.com/advisories/21915 http://secunia.com/advisories/21916 http://secunia.com/advisories/21939 http://secunia.com/advisories/21940 http://secunia.com/advisories/21949 http://secunia.com/advisories • CWE-264: Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls •
CVE-2006-1942
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2006-1942
Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.2 and possibly other versions before 1.5.0.4, Netscape 8.1, 8.0.4, and 7.2, and K-Meleon 0.9.13 allows user-assisted remote attackers to open local files via a web page with an IMG element containing a SRC attribute with a non-image file:// URL, then tricking the user into selecting View Image for the broken image, as demonstrated using a .wma file to launch Windows Media Player, or by referencing an "alternate web page." • http://secunia.com/advisories/19698 http://secunia.com/advisories/19988 http://secunia.com/advisories/20063 http://secunia.com/advisories/20376 http://secunia.com/advisories/21176 http://secunia.com/advisories/21183 http://secunia.com/advisories/21324 http://secunia.com/advisories/22066 http://securitytracker.com/id?1016202 http://www.debian.org/security/2006/dsa-1118 http://www.debian.org/security/2006/dsa-1120 http://www.debian.org/security/2006/dsa-1134 http:/ •
CVE-2005-4134 – Mozilla Firefox 0.x/1.x - Large History File Buffer Overflow
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2005-4134
Mozilla Firefox 1.5, Netscape 8.0.4 and 7.2, and K-Meleon before 0.9.12 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption and delayed application startup) via a web site with a large title, which is recorded in history.dat but not processed efficiently during startup. NOTE: despite initial reports, the Mozilla vendor does not believe that this issue can be used to trigger a crash or buffer overflow in Firefox. Also, it has been independently reported that Netscape 8.1 does not have this issue. • https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/26762 ftp://ftp.sco.com/pub/updates/UnixWare/SCOSA-2006.26/SCOSA-2006.26.txt ftp://patches.sgi.com/support/free/security/advisories/20060201-01-U http://marc.info/?l=full-disclosure&m=113404911919629&w=2 http://marc.info/?l=full-disclosure&m=113405896025702&w=2 http://secunia.com/advisories/17934 http://secunia.com/advisories/17944 http://secunia.com/advisories/17946 http://secunia.com/advisories/18700 http://secunia.com/advisori •
