CVE-2024-10176 – Compact WP Audio Player <= 1.9.13 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via sc_embed_player Shortcode
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2024-10176
The Compact WP Audio Player plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's sc_embed_player shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.9.13 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. • https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/compact-wp-audio-player/trunk/shortcodes-functions.php#L79 https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3173541 https://wordpress.org/plugins/compact-wp-audio-player/#developers https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/bba90659-09a8-470a-91d3-d1986562672a?source=cve • CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') •
CVE-2024-4383 – Simple Membership <= 4.4.5 - Authenticated(Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Shortcode
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2024-4383
The Simple Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'swpm_paypal_subscription_cancel_link' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.4.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. • https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/simple-membership/tags/4.4.3/classes/shortcode-related/class.swpm-shortcodes-handler.php#L228 https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3081024/simple-membership/trunk/classes/shortcode-related/class.swpm-shortcodes-handler.php?old=3010737&old_path=%2Fsimple-membership%2Ftrunk%2Fclasses%2Fshortcode-related%2Fclass.swpm-shortcodes-handler.php https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/56fdbf80-8ea2-412a-b166-b7c27de88e70?source=cve • CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') •
CVE-2024-3730 – Simple Membership <= 4.4.3 - Authenticated(Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Shortcode
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2024-3730
The Simple Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'swpm_paypal_subscription_cancel_link' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.4.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE-2024-1985 – Simple Membership <= 4.4.2 - Unauthenticated Stored Self-Based Cross-Site Scripting
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2024-1985
The Simple Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'Display Name' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.4.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This vulnerability requires social engineering to successfully exploit, and the impact would be very limited due to the attacker requiring a user to login as the user with the injected payload for execution. • https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/simple-membership/trunk/views/edit-v2.php#L103 https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/simple-membership/trunk/views/edit-v2.php#L112 https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/simple-membership/trunk/views/edit-v2.php#L121 https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/simple-membership/trunk/views/edit-v2.php#L130 https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/simple-membership/trunk/views/edit-v2.php#L139 https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/simple-membe • CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') •
