CVE-2022-30126 – Apache Tika Regular Expression Denial of Service in Standards Extractor
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2022-30126
In Apache Tika, a regular expression in our StandardsText class, used by the StandardsExtractingContentHandler could lead to a denial of service caused by backtracking on a specially crafted file. This only affects users who are running the StandardsExtractingContentHandler, which is a non-standard handler.
CVE-2022-25169 – Apache Tika BPGParser Memory Usage DoS
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2022-25169
The BPG parser in versions of Apache Tika before 1.28.2 and 2.4.0 may allocate an unreasonable amount of memory on carefully crafted files. El analizador BPG en Apache Tika versiones anteriores a 1.28.2 y 2.4.0, puede asignar una cantidad de memoria no razonable en archivos cuidadosamente diseñados • http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2022/05/16/4 https://lists.apache.org/thread/t3tb51sf0k2pmbnzsrrrm23z9r1c10rk https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20220804-0004 https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpujul2022.html • CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling •
CVE-2020-36518 – jackson-databind: denial of service via a large depth of nested objects
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-36518
jackson-databind before 2.13.0 allows a Java StackOverflow exception and denial of service via a large depth of nested objects. jackson-databind versiones anteriores a 2.13.0, permite una excepción Java StackOverflow y una denegación de servicio por medio de una gran profundidad de objetos anidados A flaw was found in the Jackson Databind package. This cause of the issue is due to a Java StackOverflow exception and a denial of service via a significant depth of nested objects. • https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson-databind/issues/2816 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2022/05/msg00001.html https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2022/11/msg00035.html https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20220506-0004 https://www.debian.org/security/2022/dsa-5283 https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpuapr2022.html https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpujul2022.html https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2020-36518 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/ • CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption CWE-787: Out-of-bounds Write •
CVE-2021-44832 – Apache Log4j2 vulnerable to RCE via JDBC Appender when attacker controls configuration
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-44832
Apache Log4j2 versions 2.0-beta7 through 2.17.0 (excluding security fix releases 2.3.2 and 2.12.4) are vulnerable to a remote code execution (RCE) attack when a configuration uses a JDBC Appender with a JNDI LDAP data source URI when an attacker has control of the target LDAP server. This issue is fixed by limiting JNDI data source names to the java protocol in Log4j2 versions 2.17.1, 2.12.4, and 2.3.2. Este problema se soluciona limitando los nombres de fuentes de datos JNDI al protocolo java en las versiones 2.17.1, 2.12.4 y 2.3.2 de Log4j2 Apache Log4j2 versions 2.0-beta7 through 2.17.0 (excluding security fix releases 2.3.2 and 2.12.4) are vulnerable to a remote code execution (RCE) attack where an attacker with permission to modify the logging configuration file can construct a malicious configuration using a JDBC Appender with a data source referencing a JNDI URI which can execute remote code. This issue is fixed by limiting JNDI data source names to the java protocol in Log4j2 versions 2.17.1, 2.12.4, and 2.3.2. • https://github.com/thedevappsecguy/Log4J-Mitigation-CVE-2021-44228--CVE-2021-45046--CVE-2021-45105--CVE-2021-44832 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2021/12/28/1 https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/pdf/ssa-784507.pdf https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LOG4J2-3293 https://lists.apache.org/thread/s1o5vlo78ypqxnzn6p8zf6t9shtq5143 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2021/12/msg00036.html https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation CWE-74: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component ('Injection') •
CVE-2021-45105 – Apache Log4j2 does not always protect from infinite recursion in lookup evaluation
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-45105
Apache Log4j2 versions 2.0-alpha1 through 2.16.0 (excluding 2.12.3 and 2.3.1) did not protect from uncontrolled recursion from self-referential lookups. This allows an attacker with control over Thread Context Map data to cause a denial of service when a crafted string is interpreted. This issue was fixed in Log4j 2.17.0, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1. • https://github.com/thedevappsecguy/Log4J-Mitigation-CVE-2021-44228--CVE-2021-45046--CVE-2021-45105--CVE-2021-44832 https://github.com/tejas-nagchandi/CVE-2021-45105 https://github.com/pravin-pp/log4j2-CVE-2021-45105 https://github.com/dileepdkumar/https-github.com-pravin-pp-log4j2-CVE-2021-45105-1 https://github.com/dileepdkumar/https-github.com-pravin-pp-log4j2-CVE-2021-45105 https://github.com/dileepdkumar/https-github.com-dileepdkumar-https-github.com-pravin-pp-log4j2-CVE-2021-45105-v htt • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation CWE-674: Uncontrolled Recursion •
