The ff_sbr_apply function in libavcodec/aacsbr.c in FFmpeg before 2.7.2 does not check for a matching AAC frame syntax element before proceeding with Spectral Band Replication calculations, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds array access) or possibly have unspecified other impact via crafted AAC data.
Vulnerabilidad en la función ff_sbr_apply en libavcodec/aacsbr.c en FFmpeg en versiones anteriores a 2.7.2, no verifica la coincidencia de un elemento de sintaxis con marco ACC antes de proceder con los cálculos Spectral Band Replication, lo que permite a atacantes remotos causar una denegación de servicio (acceso a array fuera de rango) o posiblemente tener otro impacto no especificado a través de datos AAC manipulados.
It was discovered that Libav incorrectly handled certain malformed media files. If a user were tricked into opening a crafted media file, an attacker could cause a denial of service via application crash, or possibly execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the user invoking the program.
