FontParser in Apple iOS before 9.3, OS X before 10.11.4, tvOS before 9.2, and watchOS before 2.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted PDF document.
FontParser en Apple iOS en versiones anteriores a 9.3, OS X en versiones anteriores a 10.11.4, tvOS en versiones anteriores a 9.2 y watchOS en versiones anteriores a 2.2 permite a atacantes remotos ejecutar código arbitrario o causar una denegación de servicio (corrupción de memoria) a través de un documento PDF manipulado.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Apple OS X. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the handling of PDF files. The issue lies in the parsing of encoded fonts containing invalid characters. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code under the context of the current process.
