Descriptions

libxslt in Apple iOS before 10, OS X before 10.12, tvOS before 10, and watchOS before 3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted web site.

Holger Fuhrmannek discovered an integer overflow in the xsltAddTextString function in Libxslt. An attacker could use this to craft a malicious document that, when opened, could cause a denial of service or possible execute arbitrary code. Nicolas Gregoire discovered that Libxslt mishandled namespace nodes. An attacker could use this to craft a malicious document that, when opened, could cause a denial of service or possibly execute arbitrary code. This issue only affected Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Various other issues were also addressed.
