A Directory Traversal vulnerability in DashboardFileReceiveServlet in the Brocade Network Advisor versions released prior to and including 14.0.2 could allow remote attackers to upload a malicious file in a section of the file system where it can be executed.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Brocade Network Advisor. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the DashboardFileReceiveServlet servlet. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code under the context of SYSTEM.
