Vulnerability in the MySQL Server component of Oracle MySQL (subcomponent: Server: Security: Encryption). Supported versions that are affected are 5.7.16 and earlier. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized read access to a subset of MySQL Server accessible data. CVSS v3.0 Base Score 2.4 (Confidentiality impacts).

Ataques exitosos requieren interacción humana de una persona distinta del atacante. Ataques exitosos de esta vulnerabilidad pueden resultar en acceso de lectura no autorizado a un subconjunto de datos accesibles de MySQL Server. MySQL is a multi-user, multi-threaded SQL database server. It consists of the MySQL server daemon, mysqld, and many client programs. The following packages have been upgraded to a later upstream version: rh-mysql57-mysql. Security Fix: An integer overflow flaw leading to a buffer overflow was found in the way MySQL parsed connection handshake packets. An unauthenticated remote attacker with access to the MySQL port could use this flaw to crash the mysqld daemon.
