Descriptions
On Windows systems, if non-null-terminated strings are copied into the crash reporter for some specific registry keys, stack memory data can be copied until a null is found. This can potentially contain private data from the local system. Note: This attack only affects Windows operating systems. Other operating systems are not affected. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 55.
En sistemas Windows, si se copian cadenas no acabadas en null en el crash reporter para algunas claves de registro especĂficas, los datos de la pila se pueden copiar hasta que se encuentre un null. Esto podrĂa contener datos privados del sistema local. Nota: este ataque solo afecta a sistemas operativos Windows. Otros sistemas operativos no se han visto afectados.
