Descriptions

Microsoft Edge in Microsoft Windows 10 1607, 1703, and Windows Server 2016 allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user due to the way affected Microsoft scripting engines render when handling objects in memory, aka "Microsoft Edge Memory Corruption Vulnerability".

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on vulnerable installations of Microsoft Edge. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the implementation of the Undo command in HTML documents. By performing actions in JavaScript an attacker can trigger a read past the end of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the context of the process.
