Multiple variants of XML External Entity (XXE) attacks may be used to exfiltrate data from the host Windows platform in GE MDS PulseNET and MDS PulseNET Enterprise version 3.2.1 and prior.

Podrían emplearse múltiples variantes de ataques XEE (XML External Entity) para exfiltrar datos de la plataforma host de Windows en GE MDS PulseNET y MDS PulseNET Enterprise en versiones 3.2.1 y anteriores.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on vulnerable installations of GE MDS PulseNET. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the processing of the UpdateProblemTickets method of the IntegrationXMLProcessorServlet servlet. Due to the improper restriction of XML External Entity (XXE) references, a specially crafted document specifying a URI causes the XML parser to access the URI and embed the contents back into the XML document for further processing. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to disclose information under the context of the service.
