Descriptions
Adobe Flash Player 30.0.0.113 and earlier versions have a Type Confusion vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user.
Adobe Flash Player, en versiones 30.0.0.113 y anteriores, tiene una vulnerabilidad de confusión de tipos. Su explotación con éxito podría permitir la ejecución arbitraria de código en el contexto del usuario actual.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Adobe Flash. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the handling of NetConnection objects. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a type confusion condition. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code under the context of the current process.
The flash-plugin package contains a Mozilla Firefox compatible Adobe Flash Player web browser plug-in. This update upgrades Flash Player to version 30.0.0.134. Issues addressed include code execution and information leakage vulnerabilities.
