A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Microsoft Exchange software when the software fails to properly handle objects in memory, aka "Microsoft Exchange Memory Corruption Vulnerability." This affects Microsoft Exchange Server.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Microsoft Exchange. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the conversion of voicemails to text. Due to improper access control, an attacker who has access to a voicemail-enabled Exchange account can install alternative software to be invoked for voicemail transcription. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code under the context of SYSTEM.
