An Integer overflow in the getElfSections function in p_vmlinx.cpp in UPX 3.95 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a skewed offset larger than the size of the PE section in a UPX packed executable, which triggers an allocation of excessive memory.

Un desbordamiento de enteros en la función getElfSections en el archivo p_vmlinx.cpp en UPX versión 3.95, permite a los atacantes remotos causar una denegación de servicio (bloqueo de aplicación) por medio de un desplazamiento skewed mayor que el tamaño de la sección PE en un ejecutable empaquetado UPX, lo que desencadena una asignación excesiva de memoria.
