A use-after-free flaw has been discovered in libcomps before version 0.1.10 in the way ObjMRTrees are merged. An attacker, who is able to make an application read a crafted comps XML file, may be able to crash the application or execute malicious code.
Se ha descubierto un error de uso de memoria previamente liberada en libcomps, en versiones anteriores a la 0.1.10 en la forma en la que se fusionan los ObjMRTrees. Un atacante que sea capaz de hacer que una aplicación lea un archivo XML comps manipulado podría ser capaz de provocar el cierre inesperado de la aplicación o ejecutar código malicioso.
