An exploitable heap overflow vulnerability exists in the JPEG2000 parsing functionality of LEADTOOLS 20.0.2019.3.15. A specially crafted J2K image file can cause an out of bounds write of a null byte in a heap buffer, potentially resulting in code execution. An attack can specially craft a J2K image to trigger this vulnerability.

Se presenta una vulnerabilidad de desbordamiento de la pila explotable en la funcionalidad de análisis JPEG2000 de LEADTOOLS versión 20.0.2019.3.15. Un archivo de imagen J2K especialmente diseñado puede causar una escritura fuera de límites de un byte null en un búfer de la pila, resultando potencialmente en una ejecución de código. Un ataque puede crear especialmente una imagen J2K para activar esta vulnerabilidad.
