Descriptions

An exploitable double-free vulnerability exists in the JavaScript implementation of Nitro Pro PDF. A specially crafted document can cause a reference to a timeout object to be stored in two different places. When closed, the document will result in the reference being released twice. This can lead to code execution under the context of the application. An attacker can convince a user to open a document to trigger this vulnerability.

Se presenta una vulnerabilidad de doble liberación explotable en la implementación de JavaScript de Nitro Pro PDF. Un documento especialmente diseñado puede causar que una referencia a un objeto de tiempo de espera se almacene en dos lugares diferentes. Cuando se cierra el documento, la referencia se libera dos veces. Esto puede conllevar a una ejecución de código bajo el contexto de la aplicación. Un atacante puede convencer a un usuario de que abra un documento para desencadenar esta vulnerabilidad
