An out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists when parsing a specially crafted file in Esri ArcReader 10.8.1 (and earlier) which allow an unauthenticated attacker to induce an information disclosure issue in the context of the current user.
Se presenta una vulnerabilidad de lectura fuera de límites cuando es analizado un archivo especialmente diseñado en Esri ArcReader versiones 10.8.1 (y anteriores) que permite a un atacante no autenticado inducir un problema de divulgación de información en el contexto del usuario actual.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Esri ArcReader. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the parsing of PMF files. Crafted data in a PMF file can trigger a read past the end of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process.
