Adobe Creative Cloud version 5.5 (and earlier) are affected by a privilege escalation vulnerability in the resources leveraged by the Setup.exe service. An unauthenticated attacker could leverage this vulnerability to remove files and escalate privileges under the context of SYSTEM . An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability on the product installer. User interaction is required before product installation to abuse this vulnerability.

Adobe Creative Cloud versión 5.5(y las anteriores), están afectadas por una vulnerabilidad de escalada de privilegios en los recursos aprovechados por el servicio Setup.exe. Un atacante no autenticado podría aprovechar esta vulnerabilidad para eliminar archivos y escalar privilegios bajo el contexto de SYSTEM . This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of Adobe Creative Cloud. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the product installer. The issue results from incorrect permsissions set on a folder. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM.
