CVE-2021-43030

Adobe Premiere Rush versiones 1.5.16 (y anteriores) permiten acceder a una vulnerabilidad de puntero no inicializado que permite a los atacantes remotos revelar datos arbitrarios en las instalaciones afectadas. Se requiere la interacción del usuario para explotar esta vulnerabilidad, ya que el objetivo debe visitar una página maliciosa o abrir un archivo malicioso. El fallo específico existe en el análisis de archivos MP4. El problema se debe a la falta de inicialización adecuada de la memoria antes de acceder a ella.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Adobe Premiere Rush. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the parsing of MP4 files. The issue results from the lack of proper initialization of memory prior to accessing it. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process.
