The ElasticPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 3.5.3. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the epio_send_autosuggest_allowed() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to send allowed parameters for autosuggest to elasticpress[.]io via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

El plugin ElasticPress para WordPress es vulnerable a ataques de tipo Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) en versiones hasta la 3.5.3 inclusive. Esto es debido a la falta o incorrecta validación nonce en la función "epio_send_autosuggest_allowed()". Esto hace posible que los atacantes no autenticados envíen parámetros permitidos para "autosuggest" a "elasticpress.io" a través de una solicitud manipulada concedida y puedan engañar a un administrador del sitio para realizar un acción como hacer clic en un enlace.
