The SVG Support WordPress plugin before 2.5 does not properly handle SVG added via an URL, which could allow users with a role as low as author to perform Cross-Site Scripting attacks

El plugin SVG Support de WordPress versiones anteriores a 2.5, no maneja apropiadamente los SVG añadidos por medio de una URL, lo que podría permitir a usuarios con un rol tan bajo como el de autor llevar a cabo ataques de tipo Cross-Site Scripting

The SVG Support plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘blockip’ parameter in versions up to, and including, 2.4.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level permissions and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
