The Button Widget Smartsoft plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 1.0.1. This is due to missing nonce validation on the smartsoftbutton_settings page. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update the plugins settings and inject malicious web scripts via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

El plugin Button Widget Smartsoft para WordPress es vulnerable a un ataque de tipo Cross-Site Request Forgery en versiones hasta 1.0.1 incluyéndola. Esto es debido a una falta de comprobación de nonce en la página smartsoftbutton_settings. Esto hace posible que atacantes no autenticados actualicen la configuración del plugin e inyecten scripts web maliciosos por medio de una petición falsificada que puede engañar al administrador del sitio para que lleve a cabo una acción como hacer clic en un enlace
