Descriptions

A buffer overflow issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Monterey 12.3, Safari 15.4, watchOS 8.5, iTunes 12.12.3 for Windows, iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4, tvOS 15.4. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution.

A buffer overflow vulnerability was found in WebKitGTK and WPE WebKit. This flaw allows a remote attacker to process maliciously crafted web content, leading to arbitrary code execution.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Apple Safari. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the WebGLMultiDraw component. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a fixed-length heap-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user.
