En autofile Audio File Library versión 0.3.6, se presenta una vulnerabilidad de pérdida de memoria en printfileinfo, en el archivo printinfo.c, que permite a un atacante filtrar información confidencial por medio de un archivo diseñado. It was discovered that audiofile could be made to dereference invalid memory. If a user or an automated system were tricked into opening a specially crafted file, an attacker could possibly use this issue to cause a denial of service. This issue only affected Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. It was discovered that audiofile could be made to write out of bounds.
