The vRealize Log Insight contains a broken access control vulnerability. An unauthenticated malicious actor can remotely inject code into sensitive files of an impacted appliance which can result in remote code execution.

vRealize Log Insight contiene una vulnerabilidad de control de acceso roto. Un actor malintencionado no autenticado puede inyectar código de forma remota en archivos confidenciales de un dispositivo afectado, lo que puede provocar la ejecución remota de código.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of VMware vRealize Log Insight. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the setConfig function. The issue results from the lack of authentication prior to allowing access to functionality. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of root.
