The Simple:Press plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'postitem' parameter manipulated during a forum response in versions up to, and including, 6.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping that makes injecting object and embed tags possible. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages when responding to forum threads that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

El complemento Simple:Press para WordPress es vulnerable a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) Almacenado a través del parámetro 'postitem' manipulado durante una respuesta en el foro en versiones hasta la 6.8 incluida debido a una sanitización de entrada insuficiente y un escape de salida que posibilita la inyección de objetos y etiquetas incrustadas. Esto hace posible que atacantes no autenticados inyecten scripts web arbitrarios en páginas cuando responden a hilos del foro que se ejecutarán cada vez que un usuario acceda a una página inyectada.
