Descriptions

The Contest Gallery WordPress plugin before 19.1.5.1, Contest Gallery Pro WordPress plugin before 19.1.5.1 do not escape the cg_multiple_files_for_post POST parameter before concatenating it to an SQL query in 0_change-gallery.php. This may allow malicious users with at least author privilege to leak sensitive information from the site's database.

The Contest Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection in versions up to, and including, 19.1.4.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied cg_multiple_files_for_post parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level privileges or higher to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
