The WP AutoComplete Search WordPress plugin through 1.0.4 does not sanitise and escape a parameter before using it in a SQL statement via an AJAX available to unauthenticated users, leading to an unauthenticated SQL injection

The WP AutoComplete Search plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via an AJAX action in versions up to, and including, 1.0.4 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

WordPress WP AutoComplete Search plugin versions 1.0.4 and below suffer from a remote SQL injection vulnerability.
