The Easy Bootstrap Shortcode WordPress plugin through 4.5.4 does not validate and escape some of its shortcode attributes before outputting them back in the page, which could allow users with a role as low as contributor to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks which could be used against high privilege users such as admins.

The Easy Bootstrap Shortcode plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'theme_hrrule' function and multiple other short codes in versions up to, and including, 4.5.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with contributor capabilities or above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
