Descriptions

The My Sticky Elements WordPress plugin before 2.0.9 does not properly sanitise and escape a parameter before using it in a SQL statement when deleting messages, leading to a SQL injection exploitable by high privilege users such as admin

The My Sticky Elements plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'delete_message' parameter in versions up to, and including, 2.0.8 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with administrative privileges to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
