Descriptions
The Slimstat Analytics WordPress plugin before 4.9.3.3 does not prevent subscribers from rendering shortcodes that concatenates attributes directly into an SQL query.
The Slimstat Analytics plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the plugin's shortcode(s) in versions up to, and including, 4.9.3.2 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with subscriber-level permissions, and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
