The Gallery by BestWebSoft WordPress plugin before 4.7.0 does not perform proper sanitization of gallery information, leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scription vulnerability. The attacker must have at least the privileges of the Author role.

The Gallery by BestWebSoft plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via gallery information in versions up to, and including, 4.6.9 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level permissions and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
