The Steveas WP Live Chat Shoutbox WordPress plugin through 1.4.2 does not sanitise and escape a parameter before outputting it back in the Shoutbox, leading to Stored Cross-Site Scripting which could be used against high privilege users such as admins.

The Steveas WP Live Chat Shoutbox plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Shoutboxes in versions up to, and including, 1.4.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
