Descriptions
Delta Electronics InfraSuite Device Master versions prior to 1.0.5 are affected by a deserialization vulnerability targeting the Device-gateway service, which could allow deserialization of requests prior to authentication, resulting in remote code execution.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Delta Electronics InfraSuite Device Master. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the Device-Gateway service, which listens on TCP port 3100 by default. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in deserialization of untrusted data. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of an administrator.
