Adobe RoboHelp Server versions 11.4 and earlier are affected by an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability that could lead to Remote Code Execution by an admin authenticated attacker. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction.

Las versiones 11.4 y anteriores de Adobe RoboHelp Server se ven afectadas por una vulnerabilidad de limitación inadecuada de un nombre de ruta a un directorio restringido ("Path Traversal") que podría provocar la ejecución remota de código por parte de un atacante autenticado por un administrador. La explotación de este problema no requiere la interacción del usuario.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Adobe RoboHelp Server. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the OnPublishFile method. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the service account.
