The Short URL WordPress plugin before 1.6.5 does not sanitise and escape some of its settings, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed (for example in multisite setup).

The Short URL plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'url_externe' parameter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in versions up to, and including, 1.6.4. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level permissions and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
