Descriptions

An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was found in Netfilter Connection Tracking (conntrack) in the Linux kernel. This flaw allows a remote user to disclose sensitive information via the DCCP protocol.

Se encontró una vulnerabilidad de lectura fuera de los límites en Netfilter Connection Tracking (conntrack) en el kernel de Linux. Esta falla permite que un usuario remoto revele información confidencial a través del protocolo DCCP.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Linux Kernel. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the handling of the DCCP protocol. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated data structure. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the context of the kernel.
