Adobe After Effects version 24.0.2 (and earlier) and 23.6 (and earlier) are affected by an Access of Uninitialized Pointer vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.

Adobe After Effects versión 24.0.2 (y anteriores) y 23.6 (y anteriores) se ven afectados por una vulnerabilidad de acceso a puntero no inicializado que podría provocar la divulgación de memoria confidencial. Un atacante podría aprovechar esta vulnerabilidad para evitar mitigaciones como ASLR. La explotación de este problema requiere la interacción del usuario, ya que la víctima debe abrir un archivo malicioso.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Adobe After Effects. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the parsing of MP4 files. The issue results from the lack of proper initialization of memory prior to accessing it. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process.
