The Newsletter plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'newsletter_form' shortcode in versions up to, and including, 7.8.9 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

El plugin Newsletter para WordPress es vulnerable a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) almacenado a través del shortcode "newsletter_form" en versiones hasta, e incluyendo, la 7.8.9 debido a una insuficiente sanitización de entrada y escape de salida en atributos suministrados por el usuario. Esto hace posible que atacantes autenticados con permisos de nivel de colaborador y superiores inyecten scripts web arbitrarios en páginas que se ejecutarán cada vez que un usuario acceda a una página inyectada.
