The EmbedPress WordPress plugin before 3.9.2 does not sanitise and escape a parameter before outputting it back in the page containing a specific content, leading to a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting which could be used against high privilege users such as admin

El complemento EmbedPress de WordPress anterior a 3.9.2 no sanitiza ni escapa un parámetro antes de devolverlo a la página que contiene un contenido específico, lo que genera un Cross-Site Scripting Reflejado que podría usarse contra usuarios con privilegios elevados, como el administrador.

The EmbedPress – Embed PDF, YouTube, Google Docs, Vimeo, Wistia Videos, Audios, Maps & Any Documents in Gutenberg & Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the hash parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.9.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
