Descriptions

Incorrect permissions in the installation directories for shared SystemLink Elixir based services may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.

Los permisos incorrectos en los directorios de instalación para los servicios compartidos basados en SystemLink Elixir pueden permitir que un usuario autenticado habilite potencialmente la escalada de privilegios a través del acceso local.

This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of NI FlexLogger. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the userservices executable. The issue results from the lack of authorization prior to allowing access to functionality. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM.
