The XV Random Quotes WordPress plugin through 1.40 does not have CSRF check in place when updating its settings, which could allow attackers to make a logged in admin reset them via a CSRF attack

The XV Random Quotes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.40. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the 'stray_tools' page. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to reset the plugin settings via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
