The WP SMTP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'search' parameter in versions 1.2 to 1.2.6 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

El complemento WP SMTP para WordPress es vulnerable a la inyección SQL a través del parámetro 'búsqueda' en las versiones 1.2 a 1.2.6 debido a un escape insuficiente en el parámetro proporcionado por el usuario y a la falta de preparación suficiente en la consulta SQL existente. Esto hace posible que atacantes autenticados, con acceso de nivel de administrador y superior, agreguen consultas SQL adicionales a consultas ya existentes que pueden usarse para extraer información confidencial de la base de datos.
