Descriptions

Deserialization of untrusted data in the agent portal of Ivanti EPM before 2022 SU6, or the 2024 September update allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to achieve remote code execution.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Ivanti Endpoint Manager. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the AgentPortal service. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in deserialization of untrusted data. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of SYSTEM.
