Descriptions

Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in Themefic BEAF.This issue affects BEAF: from n/a through 4.5.4.

Vulnerabilidad de Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) en Themefic BEAF. Este problema afecta a BEAF: desde n/a hasta 4.5.4.

The BEAF plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 4.5.4. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the bafg_new_feature_notice_dismissed() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to dismiss notices via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
